Data Center Aisle Containment
Pro – aisle forms a room sealed with barriers made of UL-V0 Certified Plastic, etc. The cold aisle has coolers and air conditioners
which are used to condition the hot exhaust hot air from the rear of the systems in the data centre and returns it to the hot aisle
maintaining the appropriate server inlet temperature. Although they have their pros and cons, it works well for most of the data
centre requirements.
-
- The Structure consists of Vertical & Horizontal framing supporting the Doors of 2225 x 1440 mm.
-
Top Panels of Size 1280 mm x Length of Cold aisle.
-
Complete Rack Independent System Taking Support From Actual Ceiling with 10 mm Support Rods.
-
- Easier to implement.
-
Only requires doors at ends and cap at top.
-
Generally less expensive.

Hot Aisle Containment (HAC)
It is an aisle
that created by rows of system arranged in such a way that their rears are
side-by-side. That creates a hot aisle. The hot aisle is shut on all the sides
by walls, roofs and doors and the exhaust air is discharged, the air
conditioners take over. These air conditioners condition the exhaust hot air
and return it to the cold aisle. This helps in the proper movement of exhaust
hot air and cold air back and forth maintaining the required temperature for
the smooth working of your servers.
-
The
Structure consists of Vertical & Horizontal framing supporting the
Doors of 2225 x 1440 mm.
-
Vertical
Top Panel going from Rack Top to False Ceiling and Return to PAC Unit.
-
Hot
aisle containment will be more forgiving for network racks and stand-alone
equipment such as storage cabinets that might have to live outside the
containment architecture, i.e., they will live in the lower temperature
area of the computer room.
-
Generally
more effective. Leakage from raised floor openings in the larger area
of the room goes into the cold space.
-
Hot
aisle containment can perform well in a slab environment by merely
flooding the data center with an adequate volume of supply air and
containing the exhaust air..

Flexible Curtain Containment
Flexible Aisle Containment is a type of CAC / HAC containment where flexible Curtains are used instead of doors. The design
rationale is that preventing the mixing of hot and cold air increases cooling efficiency—and this can be achieved with either hot-aisle containment (HAC) or cold-aisle containment (CAC) systems.
-
- 1mm UL – V0 Certified fire retardant flexible transparent sheet is Used.
-
Not Hygroscopic, hence doesn’t change colour overtime.
-
Very light Blue tint to maintain clarity inside the aisle.
-
- Faster Installation than Traditional CAC / HAC Containment.
-
Can be used where there is High people Movement.
-
Cost Effective.
